Solar installation on Maui.
Solar built around your electrical system, not bolted on: the service, the panel and the Maui Electric interconnection done right, by a licensed electrical contractor.
Solar that starts at the panel.
We install grid-tied solar for Maui homes and commercial buildings, and we start where most solar jobs go wrong: the service, the panel and the wiring that have to carry it.
Every job starts with a site visit. If your service or panel needs an upgrade before solar, we tell you up front, not after the modules are on the roof. Want a number first? Upload your electric bill to our estimator and see a sized system in under a minute.

- A service or panel that can’t take a solar interconnection
- Arrays sized without looking at how the home uses power
- Systems installed with no path to add a battery later
- Interconnection applications stalled with Maui Electric
- Older homes that need a service upgrade before PV is permitted
- Single-family homes, new and existing
- Remodels and additions with solar tied into the upgrade
- Commercial buildings and tenant improvements
- Solar plus battery systems
- Battery-ready installs for storage later

Straight answers.
Do I need a service or panel upgrade before solar?
Sometimes. We look at your existing service size, panel capacity and usage before designing the array. If an upgrade is needed for a safe interconnection, we scope it as part of the project.
Are you familiar with HECO / Maui Electric interconnection?
Yes. We regularly handle interconnection applications, Smart Export agreements and BYOD Plus battery enrollments.
Can the system include battery backup later?
Yes. We often install solar battery-ready, so storage can be added without redoing the electrical work.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull the electrical permit with Maui County and coordinate inspections through final approval.
How are Maui roof and electrical conditions different?
Salt air, heat and an island grid all affect long-term reliability. Equipment placement, cable runs and grounding matter more here than in milder climates.
